Daniel Wyles of Liberty Township, Saxton R.D. died at his home on Tuesday evening, July 15, 1958. Born on July 16, 1876, at Snake Spring Township, Bedford County, he was the son of James and Almira (Mellott) Wyles. He married Bertha May Dickinson on December 21, 1909. Mrs. Wyles and the following children survive: Ray Wyles and Mrs. Perthenia Rinard, of Saxton; Mrs. Grace Smith of Fairless Hills; Warren Wyles, Dowling, Michigan, and Mrs. Peggy Spalding of Altoona. There are these brothers and sisters: Joseph Wyles, Sr., and Howard Wyles, both of Saxton; Mrs. Fronie Russell of Harrisburg, and a half-sister, Mrs. Wealthy Detwiler of Loysburg. During his life he was engaged in farming.
