He was born Nov. 1, 1913, in Muncie, Ind., to Carl A. and Alice Doolittle Corrello, who preceded him in death. He married Dorothy Reed, who died Jan. 24, 1995.
Mr. Corrello had been an inspector for the state highway department. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Van Wert, where he was very active. He was a member of the Republican Party Central Committee, Van Wert. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the south Pacific from Dec. 23, 1943, until May 22, 1945.
Survivors include a son, Carl G. (Mary) Corrello of Danbury, Conn.; two brothers, Carl E. Corrello of Lima and Gene Corrello of Florida; three sisters, Margaret Werking, Thelma Johnston and Norma Baker, all of Lima; two grandchildren, Kimberly Corrello of Indianapolis and Douglas Corrello of Bordentown, N.J.; and four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Dakota, Morgan and Parker Corrello.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Chester Corrello, and a sister, Mary Armstrong.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, Delphos. The Rev. Jim Dunaway will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos, with military rites by the Delphos Veterans Council.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
