David Alexander Parks of 709 Sixth avenue, Juniata, a middle division engineer, died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at the Altoona hospital of pneumonia. He was born on Dec. 4, 1880, in Cassville, Huntingdon county, a son of Simeon and Sarah (Black) Parks. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Florence E. Parks; one daughter Mary Virginia at home; two brothers and three sisters, James of Satillo, Henry of Cassville, Mrs. Jennie Watkins of New Granada, Mrs. Bell Long of Cassville and Mrs. Mary Taylor of Juniata. Mr. Parks was a member of the Cassville Methodist church, the B. of L. E. No. 730, Huntingdon lodge of F. & A. M., Huntingdon chapter of Knights Templar and Jaffa Shrine. Friends are being received at the home. Brief services will be held Sunday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at the home, after which the procession will go to the Methodist church, Cassville, where services will be held at 2:30. Interment in Cassville cemetery.
