Mrs. Myrtle Watkins, 73, Rt.5 Florence died Dec. 7 at her home. A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Douglas Lafan Clark, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband Perry Watkins; three daughters, Miss Marie Watkins, Mrs. Lucile Cummings, Florence, Mrs. Margaret Bradford, Detroit, Mich.; six sons, Oscar, James, Thomas, Benny, , Buford and Robert Watkins, all of Florence; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Watkins, Mrs. Lucindy Behel, of Florence, one Brother, Thomas H. Clark, Florence; 32 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Zion Church of Christ with Aldon Hendrix and Robert Huffacker Officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery.
Middle Tennessee Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
