A funeral was to be held today at 2:30 p.m. at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland for Leandre "Lel" Folse Jr., 95, a native and resident of Raceland who died Thursday, Feb. 14, 1991 at 1:20 a.m.Visitation will continue until funeral time today. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery.He was the father of Donald, L.J., Kenneth and Ouida Folse, Vera Wallis, Myrtis Smith and Cecilia Barrilleaux. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 31 greatgrandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Celine Baye Folse; parents, Leandre J. Folse Sr. and Adolphine Matherne Folse; a sister, Eva Chauvin; and brothers, Eusebe, Emil, Charles, Frank, Evans and Adolph Folse.
