Obituary
Clinton Missouri, March 12, 1904 - Miss Mary J Renfro, whose death occurred at the home of Wesley Holland in Osage township on March 9, was born in Barren County, Kentucky, in 1828, her father being that old pioneer John Renfro. She accompanied him to Henry County in 1840 and, after the death of her father in the early 70s, went to live with her sister, Mrs Wesley Holland.

She joined the Tebo church fifty-five years ago and at the time of her death was the oldest member of the congregation.

She leaves a brother, Alex Renfro of Coal, and a sister Mrs Holland, and two half-brothers, R I Renfro of Clinton, and John W Renfro of Ft Lyon and a half-sister Mrs E P Ware of Portland, Oregon.

She had been in failing health for ten or twelve years but in spite of her suffering never lost that unfailing good humor which was the keynote of her character. Funeral in Tebo Church on March 10 and her body was tenderly laid by the side of her father.
