Obituary
Died - Obituary of Mrs Effie DeLozier (nee Guynn) born May 16, 1880, and died December 16, 1912. At the age of fifteen years she professed faith in Christ and united with the Christian church of which she remained a faithful member until death; married to Ace DeLozier May 27, 1900. To this union eight children were born, two have died and gone on before, six remain to mourn the loss of a dear mother. She leaves besides these, a husband, mother and many other relatives, who feel the loss of one so kind. She was a dutiful wife, a devoted mother and a kind neighbor, so kind in her home. The funeral was preached by William Briggs at the Tebo church in the presence of a large host of friends and neighbors, who showed their sympathy. It seemed nearly all were weeping. Never had there been a sadder funeral at the old church. After the funeral the remains were laid to rest in the Tebo church yard in a nice beautiful lot, which was purchased by the friends and donated to the husband and children. May the kind Heavenly Father sustain the broken hearted husband an the motherless children. Let us not sorrow as others that have no hope, for all believe the loved one was at rest with those gone on before to await the coming of those that are left behind. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community. Good night, good night, until we meet in the morning where parting is no more.
