Services for MRS. MINNIE ADAMS OVERALL of 1041 McEvers Road, who leaves 140 direct descendants, will be held at 2 this afternoon at the Gospel Assembly Church with the Rev. Roy Gingrich officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park with Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis, Arkansas in charge.
Mrs. Overall, who was 80, died at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night at St. Joseph Hospital after a heart attack. She was born in Henderson County, Tennessee, was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church at Memphis. Her husband, the late J. V. Overall, died several years ago. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. J. H. Pirtle, Mrs. Dick Allen and Mrs. Joe Alsup of Memphis, Mrs. Harvey Seavers of Milan, Tennessee and Mrs. Albert Alsup of Benton Harbor, Michigan; a son, R. H. Pillow of Forrest City; a half-sister, Mrs. Erin Long of Gleason, Tennessee; two half-brothers, George Reeved and Horace Reeves of Gleason, 64 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. ~~~ THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis, TN, Apr. 7, 1960, page 49
