Allene Lucinda Ware, 65, a resident of Mingo, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday morning, October 13, 2004. She was born Jan. 10, 1939, at Blue Rock, the daughter of the late Arval and Cleo Simmons Bonner. She was married to Roger L. Ware, who survives at Mingo.

Also surviving are two sons, Alan B. Henline and wife, Pam, of Omaha, Neb., and Brad Henline and wife, Sophie, of Valley Head; three daughters, Trudy Harvey and husband, Jim, of Morgantown, Teresa Bonner and Jim Stalnaker of Elkins, and Libby Dillon and husband, Rick, of Elkins.

Also surviving are three sisters, Phyllis Sanchez of New York, Junie Davidson of Valley Bend and Faye Gum of Mill Creek; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her extended family including mother-in-law Ruby Ware, Ronnie Ware, Rachel Ware, Rex Ware, Randall Ware, Regina Ware and Rhoda Ware.

Mrs. Ware, along with her husband, owned Novis Glass of Elkins and she was the manager of the Ski Shop at Snowshoe for 22 years prior to her retirements. she was a member of the Valley Head Community Center and the Calvary Assembly of God Church of Valley Head.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Tomblyn Funeral Home chapel in Elkins with Pastor Mark Greaver and the Rev. Brad Henline officiating. Interment will follow in the Mingo Cemetery.
