John Shore is my 4th great grandfather. His ancestors emigrated from Germany to Maryland in the mid 1700's and then later migrated to Huntington PA. Another set of Shore's emigrated to Virginia and are not related to John Shore or the parents or siblings listed on this web site (John Shore and Elizabeth Smith, Mary Shore Pendleton, Henry Smith Shore - these Shores are all related to the Shores from Virginia)
Original John Shore came form England born on the ship coming to America in
1751. John shore sr was his son who married English Hannah standiford of house
Standish, nobility at the time. Their son John II , had john shore born in 1807, he had Hohn Washington shore born in 1831, who had William born in 1859, who had Ivan shore
born 1907, the shores went to an English church, married English folk, grave stones in
english, all children and spouses had English names. Don't agree with this line being from Germany
