Scio-Gwen Olds, 67, of Scio, died Monday.
She was born in Fullerton, Nebr., the daughter of Glenn and Madeline (Southworth) Adamson. She moved with her family to Lebanon in 1941 and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1943.
She married William Olds Dec. 16, 1945 in Lebanon. The moved to Oakridge in 1958 and to Scio in 1964.
Mrs. Olds worked in Lebanon for Safeway and for Dr. John Gill. In Oakridge, she worked for Oak Market and Uptown Market, and in Scio she was employed by School District 95-C.
She was an active member of the Scio Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband William of Scio; daughters, Judy Ellsworth of Portland, Patty Fetter of Eugene and Janet Rush of Albany; mother Madeline Adamson of Lebanon; and grandchildren Mark; Connie and Amy.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Scio Christian Church with Pastor Glenn Brown officiating. Private burial will be at Lebanon IOOF Cemetery. Huston Funeral Home is handling arrangements, Memorial contributions may be made to the Scio Christian Church.
