Kelly Allen, age 86, of Benton, KY, died Monday, February 15, 2010, at his residence in Benton, KY. He was a retired mechanic and former owner of Kelly Allen Transmission.
He was the son of the late Raymond Allen and the late Mittie (Johnson) Allen.
He is survived by: one daughter: Diane Gregory, Benton, KY, one son: Chris Allen, Benton, KY, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife: Margaret (Scott) Allen; a son, Gary Allen; sister: Mary Carolyn Allen; and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral service will be at Salyers Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2010, Rev. Eugene Powell and Joe Angle officiating. Interment will be at Salyers Cemetery, Calvert City, KY. Friends may call the funeral home between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
