Mamie Drewcella Banker, LDS ID 9V12-B8Q, was the daughter of Anna Eliz Howser and Newton Birdsell Banker (aka Melvin Banker and stage name of Melvin Melville).

She married on the stage at Minerva Park, Columbus, Ohio, before an audience of 28,000 people, September 13, 1896, LeRoy David Lesser.

Mamie was an actress on the Banker - Melville Floating Theatre, the showboat of her parents. Later, she and her husband, LeRoy, had their own showboat and show. As the showboat era ended, they traveled with Quillen, Jack Ripple, Jethro Almond and other touring repertoire organizations.

She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, at the time of her death.

They had three children:
1. Mamie Eliza Lesser, b. 1898; d. 1898
2. Bertand LeRoy Lesser, b. 1901; d. 1971
3. Kathryn LaVerna Lesser, b. 1905; d. 1950
