When he was 13 his family moved to Arizona in a covered wagon. When he was 16 they moved to the Datil area. He married Ann Elizabeth McNeelin 1937 and they lived in the Plane's School House near Datil.
Tom retired from his job as a firefighter for the forest service, and lived for many years in Magdalena. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Thomas Mac and Frank of Magdalena, John of Albuquerque and Daniel f Gila. His brother Bill Key of Boise Idaho.
Born in a tent in Texas.
