Harper and was 81 years of age the 16th of December last. The following brothers and sister survive her: Mr. John M. Harper and Mrs. Margaret Marshall of this county and Mr. P.C. Harper of Washington; also the following children: Messers John H. and W.P. Caskey, Mrs. Margaret A. Langley and Mrs Julia Hinson. Mrs. Caskey was a most estimable christian lady, and was greatly loved by all who knew her. She was devoted to her children, and was ever zealous in her untiring efforts to contribute to their welfare and happiness. She was, indeed, a good neighbor, socialble, kind, generous and charitable. The sick and needy ever found in her a true and helpful friend. For may years preceding her death, Mrs. Caskey was a consistent member of the A.R.P Church. Her remains were taken to Gills Creek Church Monday for interment, after appropriate services conducted at the house by the pastor, the Rev. W.C. Ewart. The Rev. J.H. Boldreidge officated at the grave, Mr. Ewart being too indisposed to accompany the funeral procession."
