Mr. Wright,
I am the designated researcher for the Colchester Historical Society. I am afraid that I have to tell you that it is highly unlikely that your ancestor is buried in the Colchester Burying Ground as this burying ground only dates back to 1713 not to 1687 when your ancestor died. The Town of Colchester itself only dates back to 1698 and the Colchester Burying Ground is the oldest one in the town.
Just to make sure I checked the oldest existing gravestone inscription list that exists for the burial ground and also the newest one that was compiled just a couple of years ago and there are no Starr entries in either list. I also checked the surname file list that the society maintains and their are no entries for any variation of the surname "Starr". I suspect that however make the "Find-a-Grave" entry for Samuel Starr for the Colchester Burying Ground was mistaken.
