Mary Eliza (Woody) Clark married Lewis Miller in Kansas in 1894. He was a German immigrant. They went to Oklahoma and participated in the Cherokee Land Rush, obtaining a nice farm near Ponca City, Kay County, Oklahoma. They had two children, Nellie May (Jordan) and Herman Miller.
