He was stationed at Tampa, FL and Tacoma, WA during his period of military service as an aircraft mechanic with the Army Air Force. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and the Manlius Rod and Gun Club. He was the founder and president of Morgan Badgley, Co., Inc., a company providing heating, plumbing and electrical services to all of Onondaga County. At the time of his death, he also left 2 brothers, Paul and Robert C, and and a sister, Rita Hayes. His mother was the late Ruth Ferguson, and his grandfather was Dr Coburn Badgley from Fayetteville, NY.
