FULL story---David E. Flodman, 55, of Hastings died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln.Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brand-Wilson Chapel in Hastings, with the Rev. Lou Nollette officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Book signing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 8 a.m. until services Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Flodman was born July 23, 1952, at Aurora to Earl H. and Loraine (Lampshire) Flodman.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Patricia of Hastings; a daughter, Dawn of Juniata; a son, Scott of Winterhaven, Fla.; and a brother, Steven Flodman of Lincoln.Additional survivors include a grandson, Graydon Griswold of Juniata; and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Polk High School in 1970. He married Patricia Nollette on Aug. 24, 1974. He worked at Wolfe Cycle Sports for 20 years. He later became an independent contractor with the Flodman Satellite Co. He was a member of Pheasants Forever and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elizabeth Wolfe.
