Eugene Manning Dorman
Eugene Manning Dorman was born in Tacoma, WA, January 14, 1922, died at his beach cabin on June 18, 1998. He blessed the lives of his wife of 53 years Maxine, daughter Susan and husband Larry Lorack, son Larry and wife Diane Dorman, and daughter Nancy Dorman; his grandson Chris and wife Alissa Dorman, granddaughter Jennifer and husband Sean Sehlin and granddaughter Julie Lorack and fiance Jared Manley; his sisters Maryann Peterson and Joyce Tucker. Gene graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and owned and operated a successful sales agency for thirty years. He was active in several organizations: Rainier Club, Rotary Club and City Chapel Fellowship. His kind and generous heart touched the lives of many; he will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 23rd, 11 a.m. at the First Free Methodist Church; 3rd West & West Dravus, Seattle. Memorials may be sent to the Union Gospel Mission or Multiple Sclerosis of King County.
