George J. Batdorf, 75, of Harrisburg, went to be with his beloved wife Cleo on Wednesday, August 27, 2008.

Born December 21, 1932, in Williamstown, he was the son of the late Alvin and Margaret (Warlow) Batdorf.

He retired from the former New Cumberland Army Depot; was a member of Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grantville; American Legion Post #239, Williamstown, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the widower of Cleo (Bast) Batdorf who died October 3, 1989.
Surviving are his daughters, Helen, wife of Butch Webb of Berwick and Joanne, wife of Dan Deeley of Liverpool; a sister Mary Jane Boyer of Mechanicsburg; and grandchildren, Nicholas Webb, Erica Dreher, Joshua Deeley and Emily Deeley.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
