Jackie Othella Partin Strevel, age 87 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of First Independent Baptist Church. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that loved her family very much and going to church. She also enjoyed interior decorating. She was a machinist with General Motors and a housewife.
Preceded in death by Husband: Samuel A. Baker. Parents: Thomas James Partin and Bammie Webb Partin. Brothers: Milburn Partin and Tee Partin.
Survived by Son: Thomas Davis of LaFollette. Brother: Hubert Partin. Sister: Sylvia Sue Donald of Nashville. Grandchildren: Angel Othello Baker, Mark Aden Baker and Thomasina Davis. 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 8 PM Monday, July 21, 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Junior Dilbeck and Rev. Thommy Davis officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Tuesday at Jellico Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
