Laura (Plumley) was the daughter of Mathias Plumley and Mary Polly Smith. She Married Luke G Adkins in 1852. And was divorced in 1860. Her husband Luke G Adkins kept and rasied the children and she later married T.J. Boys.
In the Department of Interior Bureau of Pensions dated March 10 1915 it was stated by Luke G Adkins and witnessed by one of his sons Floyd H Adkins and E. F. Stanley that there were four living children born to this union.

I am the son of Luary Adkins (Boys) and I was at her burial and to the best of my knowlege and recollection she died about the year 1873. She was buried at the Warth Cemetery in Kanawha Co. W.V. And I have been contributing funds to Hamilton Walker who takes care of this cemetery for the care of her grave, signed with his signature. His P.O. address was in Spring Hill W.V.

I Valera J Sansom hereby make another statement in addition to my first: That I was only a child when my mother died and to the best of my recollection and what my father and other members of our family talked and to the best of my recollection she died about the year 1873.
