Grave side service for Alerta Noble, 84, Lawton, will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Herschel R. Lindsey officiating.

Mrs. Noble died Monday, June 23, 2003, at a local care center.

Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Elk City, to Edwin Eugene Henslee,Sr. and Inis Louisa Ruyle. She graduated from Elk City High School in 1936. She married Roy Jame Noble, Jr. 04 August 1939, in Sayre,Beckham Co.,OK and moved to Lawton later that year. She worked in the offices of Southwest Abstract in Lawton, and Modern Education in Tulsa. She retired in 1982, and returned to Lawton in 1983. She was a member of North side Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Reba Strickland Noble, Duncan; a grandson, Derek Noble, Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Virginia Henslee Shenloogian, Palm Coast, Fla.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Earl Dean and Eva Wootton Henslee, Elk City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenny Noble; and two brothers: Edwin Eugene,Jr. and Lloyd Lee Henslee.
