OKOLONA - Michael Delane Bowens died Sunday March 4,1984 at the North Mississippi Medical Center at age 22. He was an employee of Mid-South Packing Company.
Services were held Saturday, March 10, at the Clark Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. L. C. Cook officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Westbrooks Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his son, Marcus Baker of Okolona; his parents, T. J. and Ollie M. Johnson of Okolona; four sisters, Joyce Cunningham, Betty Holman, both of Okolona, Renee Bowens of South Bend, Ind., and Sandra Forbes of Shannon; three brothers, David Bowens and Randy Johnson of Okolona and Orlando Bowens of South Bend Ind.
