Walter Bloom was raised in Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County, NJ. He married Maud S. (surname unknown), and they had children; Edith A. and Norman C.. Walter was a resident of Kingwood Township for most of his married life, and then moved to Flemington. He was employed as a laborer in a creamery, and then as a watchman at the pottery factory.

FLEMINGTON, NOV. 3 - Walter Bloom, 62 years old, who died suddenly of a stroke at his home here, will be buried tomorrow. Mr. Bloom originally resided in Frenchtown but he had been employed at the Fulper Pottery here for several years.

Mr. Bloom leaves a son, Norman, of Pittstown; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Robbins, of Gibbsboro, and four grandchildren. He was a member of Frenchtown Junior O. U. A. M., I. O. P. M., of Frenchtown, and the P. O. S. of A. of Baptistown.

The funeral will be held from the Quakertown M. E. Church tomorrow at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown. The bearers will be two members from each of the lodges, with which he was affiliated.
