Sacred To the Memory of JAMES ALLEN who departed this life 6th Jan'y 1826 aged 50 yrs 2 mo's & 12 ds. He was for 24 years a professor of Religion in the Baptist Denomination, 6 years of the last of his life he devoted to the Sacred Ministry. His life and death were both the same Both honoured the Redeemers name
