Mrs HC McConnell died at her late residence on East Church Street Saturday morning at 5:00 of consumption, aged 38 years. The deceased had been afflicted with that dreaded disease for some months and her demise was not unexpected. The funeral took place from the family residence Sunday, a large number of friends and acquaintances followed the remains to Oak Dale cemetery where they were interred.
