In her early years she worked for Intermountain Title, Provo City Mayor and in the County Recorders Office. After marriage and raising their family, she was employed by Mountain Bell and retired from there as District Secretary in 1975. She was a charter member of Professional Secretaries International, Timp Valley Chapter and held offices in that organization.
She has participated in community service, family genealogical records and worked on the committee to publish the Cook Family History Book.
