Born in Akron, Ohio, where she lived until she discovered the beautiful Texas Hill Country where she met her beloved husband Gilbert Lee Gray who proceeded her in death in 1993. She was also proceeded in death by parents Herschel Stanley and Maude Walton Stanley; and brother James R Stanley.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy Lee Gray and Duna Lee Morris; son-in-law Brett Morris; grandchildren, Jason and wife Saralyn, Kelsey and Kilee Morris; brother Louis W. Stanley and wife Lillian of Minneapolis, Minn.; sister Carol Lobert and husband Tom of Lakehills; and Niece and nephew Peggy and Earl Heinen of Bertram
Norma was a talented artist, many of her paintings hang in homes around the area. She loved travel, dancing, reading, quilting and sewing. For several years Gib and Norma owned Norma's Drive In, in Hondo and later the Red Hen Restaurant in Lakehills.
She was a member of the Lakehills UMC and the Medina Lake Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary Funeral services were at Grimes Funeral Home, Bandera on Aug. 6. Graveside services followed at the Pipe Creek cemetery.
Officiating was Rev Bob Morris. Pall bearers were Jason Morris, Leroy Brown, Patrick Raab, Gene Morris, Donnie Morris, and Brian Morris or Adam Morris
Memorials can be made to the Lakehills Area Library where she volunteered for many years.
