Mr. Huey W. Outen died Friday, May 30th, at his home in Buford township. He was a native of South Carolina, but had been living in this county a number of years. Mr. Outen was 77 years old. A wife and two sons, Messrs. Solomon and Joel Outen, survive. For many years deceased had been a member of the Baptist church. He knew that his sickness was unto death and gave every assurance that he was prepared to die. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. D. L. Preslar at Smyrna.
