FUNERAL MONDAY
Mrs. Susan Coppock, 96, died at
9:30 o'clock this morning at her
home, 414 Main Street. She had
been ill for serveral days.
Born Aprial 24, 1856, in Howard
county, west of Kokomo, she was
the daughter of Daniel and Caro-
line Slaybaugh. She was married
to Robert F. Coppock Sept. 28,
1883. Mr. Coppock died Feb. 22,
1941. Mrs. Coppock was a mem-
ber of the First Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs Zula Hillan and Mrs.
Gertrude Monahan, both of El-
wood, eight grandchildren, 20
great grandchildren and three
great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be con-
ducted at 2 p.m., Monday at the
Baptist church with Rev. Robert
Sage officiating. Burial will be in
City cemetery.
The body was taken to Copher
and Fesler funeral home where
friends may call until noon on
Monday when the body will be
taken to the church.
