Mrs. Cox died Monday, Aug. 18, at the Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.
Mary Frances Cox was born on Nov. 26, 1925, in Saltillo, the daughter of William Riley and Eddie Caron Thomas Smith. They preceded her in death.
She married Guy Cox. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1985.
Mrs. Cox was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, James Cox and Steve Cox of Saltillo; one daughter, Hope Millikin of Tyler; two brothers, Tommy Smith of Hawkins and Clark Smith of Saltillo; and three sisters, Ruth Watts Burneyville, Okla., Martha Massengill Bossier City, La., and Lousie Rogers of Dallas.
Mrs. Cox was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Smith, Jody Smith and Dick Smith; and one sister, Regina Knowles.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.
