Sharon Elise Vater Iles, Retired Campbell County High School Teacher
Sharon Elise Vater Iles, 65, of Alexandria, died Sunday at Hospice of the Bluegrass-Northern Kentucky, Fort Thomas.
She was a retired teacher from Campbell County High School, Alexandria, and a member, pianist and choir member of Christ Baptist Church, Cold Spring, and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Her husband, Ray Iles, died in 1989.
Survivors include a son, Nathan Iles of Geneva, Ill.; daughters, Elizabeth Iles of Alexandria and Sarah Iles Blan of Central Asia; and brothers, Noble D. Vater of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Norbert L. Vater of Florence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Baptist Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Christ Baptist Church International Mission Fund, 3810 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Ky. 41076 .
