He moved to Possum Kingdom Lake area in 1942. Mr. Baker had been owner of Lakeview Lodge, a commercial camp on Possum Kingdom Lake since 1947. He was well known as a fisherman and hunter. Mr. Baker was a member of Lu Kingdom Baptist Church at Possum Kingdom Lake.
Survived by his wife; one son - Bob Baker; two daughters - Mrs. Darlene Amason and Miss Debby Baker; three sisters - Mrs. Grave Bishop, Mrs. Ruby Massengale, Mrs. Verona Lane; four grandchildren.
