Elizabeth Allen Carr, 81, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Springfield, died Monday in Fort Myers. She was born May 23, 1905, in Chatham, the daughter of J. Frank and Fannie England Allen.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Edmund Carr, and three sisters, June F. Winkelmann, Berta Baldwin and Lucille Bradley.
Mrs. Carr was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, and was formerly employed as an educational supervisor for Singer Sewing Machine Company.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nadine Canham Askins of Leesburg, Fla.; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Remains cremated. Burial in Old Chatham Cemetery, Chatham.
