FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MR. BARTOW JUSTICE

Montezuma, Ga. - July 4 - Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock for Mr. Bartow Justice of near Ellaville, who died late Friday afternoon after a long illness.

At the time of his death, Mr. Justice was 61 years of age. He suffered a stroke of paralysis about twelve years ago but his condition didn't become alarming until about a year ago. Mr. Justice made his home with his sister, Mrs. C. D. Athon.

The services were held in the Family Cemetery near Andersonville Saturday afternoon. Rev. Dennis of the Oglethorpe Methodist Church officiated. Pallbearers were his nephews: Messrs, Marvin Athon, Millard Athon, Thero Athon, Ray Athon, Arris Athon and Joe Justice.

Mr. Justice is survived by five sisters, Mrs. C. D. Athon and Mrs. N. W. Athon , Mrs. C. M. English of Englishville, Mrs. L. J. Athon of Bumphead, Mrs. Bryant Lee of Cut-off, his Step-mother, Mrs. W. H. Justice of Bumphead; five brothers, Mr. L. R. Justice of Bumphead, Mr. H. Justice of Englishville, Mr. W. V. Justice and R. J. Justice of Andersonville, Mr. Allen Justice of Oglethorpe.

[Note: Bartow Justice is buried in the Dyess Cemetery in Schley County, located off County road 286 just inside the Schley County in a field some distance from the road. W. H. Justice, previously owned the property and set aside this plot for the cemetery]
