Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Magill, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. C. Cramer, in Vinton, will be held Friday ... Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery at Shellsburg. Mrs. Magill was born at Lyons, New York October 18, 1868 a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Soden. She married William Magill in Vinton in 1887. Mr. Magill died in 1932. Mrs. Magill moved from Shellsburg to Vinton five years ago. Prior to her illness she was a practical
nurse. She was a member of the Shellsburg Presbyterian church and the G.A.R.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cramer, 2 grandchildren, 6
great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. A. B. Larson of East Moline, Ill. She was preceded in death by one son, John, and 3 sisters.
