THATCHER — Connie Dee Shurtleff Keller, 40, of Thatcher, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Bannock Regional Hospital in Pocatello.She was born August 7, 1961, at Soda Springs, the daughter of Larry Kirk and Beverly Bassett Shurtleff. Connie married Paul Christiansen, in Oklahoma in 1981. They were later divorced. She married Aaron Keller, in 1991 in Logan, Utah. They were later divorced. Connie was raised and educated in Soda Springs. She had moved to Thatcher two months ago.

Her hobbies included fishing, camping, and gardening.

She is survived by a fiance, John Stewart, and his son, Justin Stewart, of Thatcher, Idaho, and a daughter, Jessica Christiansen of Lava Hot Springs. Also surviving is her mother, Beverly Shurtleff, her grandmother, Helen Bassett, and a brother, Jerry and Tami Shurtleff, all of Soda Springs. She was preceded in death by her father, grandfathers and a sister, Debbie Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 1, at Noon at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs with Bishop Todd Jensen officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.
