SPRINGFIELD - Mrs. Betty Cass, 72, of Springfield died at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of Leo and Ruth (Fletcher) Faith. Betty married Donald Cass Feb. 18, 1956, in Raymond.

Mrs. Cass was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She worked as a custodian for Springfield School District 186 retiring in 1997.

Surviving are her husband, Donald; two daughters, Brenda (John) Hupp and Regina (Rick) Weitzel, all of Springfield; three grandchildren, Amanda Hibbs of Loami and Chris Kelso and Jamie Kelso, both of Springfield; two great-grandchildren, Caylin Hibbs and Ruby Hupp; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Donald Jr., in 1995.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Bisch Funeral Home West. The Rev. Dr. Richard Brady and the Rev. David Brady will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Bisch West. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery.
