Virginia E. King, 90, of Chillicothe, formerly of the Wyoming and Princeville area, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe.
Virginia was born April 12, 1918, in Princeville, the daughter of Henry and Nellie R. Streitmatter Woertz. She married Harry W. King on Sept. 29, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Sandra Kay King of Chillicothe, Ill.; and one son, Larry R. (and Marla) Woertz of Altona, Ill.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She and her husband farmed in the Toulon and Princeville areas until retiring in 1988.
In 1967, she was Past Noble Grand of Toulon Rebekah Lodge 117. In 1996, Virginia became a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville, at the age of 78.
Burial will be in Streitmatter Cemetery, rural Princeville.
