Funeral services were held for Mrs. William Lindemann, 82, who died May 23 at her home in Cumberland after an illness of two years. Ceremonies conducted Monday afternooon by Rev. M. C. Goetsch took place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Interment was at Lakeside, with Cotone Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born at Freeport, Illinois, on March 19, 1870, she moved to Minnesota in childhood, where she stayed until her marriage in 1890 at Glencoe, Minnesota. She married William Lindemann, and they lived at Glencoe, then at Mt. Vernon, finally coming to Barronett in 1911, and then to Cumberland. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran congregation.

Surviving her are three daughters and seven sons. They are Leo, of Stoughton; Otto, of Barronett; Paul and Walter, both of Dodgeville; John, Cumberland; Oscar of Hibbing; William, New Richmond; Louise (Mrs. John Owens) St. Paul; Mrs. Hulda Schulte, and Mrs. Rose Shafer, both of Cumberland.

Five brothers and three sisters live at Brownton. Two sisters live at Gaylord. There are 37 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Albert Strey, Otto Bentzine, Fred Behne, William Behne, Ernie Hagelberger and Erling Hagen.
