Bearers of the casket will be Harry Bailin, Charles Caughey, Gary Coplin, Sherwin Coplin, David Edenbaum, Herbert Lesser, Dr. Irwin Raff, Lon Werner, Mort Werner and Al Wexler. Honorary bearers will be Al Bailin, Carl Pannell, Ben Rubin and Sherwin Rubin.
Leonard H. Coplin was born in Fort Worth on Oct. 4, 1910, and died in San Diego, where he and his wife, Shirley, had lived since September 1980. They were married in Fort Worth on May 22, 1934, and resided here for 46 years of their marriage. Mr. Coplin and his late brother, Ben, operated Coplin's Custom Cleaners for 42 years.
Leonard was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Ray Coplin.
Mr. Coplin's grandfather, the late Moses Shanblum, was one of the founders of Congregation Ahavath Sholom. Mr. Coplin was a life member of the congregation.
Survivors: Wife, Shirley A. Coplin of San Diego; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Dawn Coplin of Dallas; and grandchildren, Rodney J. Coplin and his wife, Leslie, of Marietta, Ga., and Mason A. Coplin and his wife, Dijea, and Anjanette "Anjie" Coplin, all of Dallas.
