At half past one this morning Rev. Warren N. Dunham died at his home at 1815 Capitol avenue in this city quite suddenly although he had been in feeble health for several years.

Mr. Dunham was born in Milton, Vt., in November, 1822 and was educated for the medical profession which he practiced with success for several years. He then took up the study of theology and for a time preached in the Episcopal church. He was brought up a Congregationalist, however, and later entered the ministry of that church with which he was actively associated until the feebleness of years compelled his retirement.

He occupied pulpits in a number of eastern cities and came to Cheyenne about twelve years ago for the benefit of his health, which was much affected by recurring attacks of hay fever.

He gained health while here and was pastor of the South Side Congregational church for several years when he contracted bronchitis from which he never recovered and which had caused him much suffering during the closing days of his long life.

As long as his strength remained he was much sought by persons seeking to be united in marriage, but more recently his mind as well as his body became enfeebled and he frequently expressed the hope that he would soon be released.

About eleven o'clock last evening, his wife, who has been his constant companion and attendant, noticed that he seemed in much pain and distress, and soon afterward he sank into unconsciousness from which he never rallied.

He is survived by a son and a daughter at Redland, Calif., a daughter .in Salt Lake City and a daughter, Mrs. Burdick, at Meriden in this county. There are a number of grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed pending the arrival of relatives from out of town. In the absence of Rev F.L. Moore from the city, the funeral services will probably be conducted by the Rev. L.C. Hills.
