Arthur Coffee, who accidentally shot himself at H.B. Kelley's ranch on Saturday about noon died from the effects of the wound the evening of the same day. The particulars of the sad affair are as follows: Mr. Coffee had thrown his overcoat on a table preparatory to going to dinner and upon reaching the table missed his handkerchief. He went back to his overcoat to get his handkerchief out and while moving some overcoats belonging to other parties in order to get his own, a revolver in a pocket of one of them was accidentally discharged. The ball entered the right side and death resulted therefrom about seven hours afterwards.
