Delwin Carpenter Burdick, 60, died Saturday morning last at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. William Yates while en route to his home in Meriden. The deceased man made the stop at the ranch in order that the journey would prove less exhaustive, but death came peacefully and quietly while he was resting. He had been in Cheyenne for several weeks to receive medical attention.
He was born in Walworth, Wis. during the year 1855, coming to Wyoming in 1885. He engaged in extensive stock and ranch busines. He was married in 1889 to Mrs. Lucy A. Burke who survives the deceased man.
The funeral services will be held from the St. Mark's Episcopal church at 10 o'clock this morning. Rev. S. A. Heston and Dr. Rafter officiating."
