ALTA MAY SMITH, 33, SUCCUMBS THURSDAY
Funeral services were held at the Dayton Baptist church Friday for Alta May Smith, 33, who died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Rose Smith, last Thursday. Burial was in the Dayton I.O.O.F. cemetery with Ladd-Whitfield Funeral home in charge.
Miss Smith was born Aug. 11, 1902 in Dayton, and is survived by her mother, sisters, Agnes Abdill and Rose Allen of Dayton, Cora Novak of Los Angeles, Ruth Lach of Tillamook, Halley Singree of Portland, and Gertrude at home, and one brother, George, at home.
