Dr. Alva J., 74, died Aug. 24, 1992 in Moore. He was born Jan. 31, 1918 in Lone Grove, Ok. Alva was a retired Baptist minister, an author, and had organized 13 churches during his ministry. He started the Okla. Missionary Baptist Institute in Marlow, Ok. He was a member of the Kingspark Baptist Church of OKC. Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of the home; daughters, Carol Virginia Switzer, Brownwood, Tx. and Mary Teresa Welch of Moore; brother, Truman H. Wall of Wichita, Ks.; sister, Addie Mo ore of Idabel, Ok.; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1992 at the Kingspark Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Kingspark Baptist Church Mission Fund.
