Jack David Adams left this world to be with his maker on September 23, 1998, at Research Medical Center. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday, September 25, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, with the Rev. Roger A. Harwerth officiating; dispersion of the ashes will be done privately at a later date. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the Research Medical Center School ofNursing, 2316 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64132 or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 6701 W. 64th, Shawnee Mission, KS 66202.
Mr. Adams was a special husband, father, and grandfather to his large family.
There was never a doubt of his unending love and devotion to each family member. He took special enjoyment in cooking for family and friends. He will never be forgotten.
Mr. Adams was born July 22, 1931, in Salisbury, MO, to John and Karleen Adams. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and worked in sr 25, at the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery, Winchester, KS.
