Mrs. Catherine Troxell Dies at Age of 91 Years
Mrs. Catherine (Flemming) Troxell, wife of Frank Troxell, died at her home in Roseland last Saturday noon, May 26. On the community's oldest residents, Mrs. Troxell was 91 years of age. She was born Feb. 6, 1860 in Beaver Valley, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Flemming. She was married to Frank Troxell in Coalport on Dec. 24, 1887 by Rev. Cook, pastor of the EUB Church at that time. Mrs. Troxell, who had been bedfast the past few years due to advanced age, had three daughter and a son precede her in death. She was the last surviving member of her family. Mrs. Troxell is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Linnie Matthews, and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow
